Buy or Sell?

You know that the Stock Market Crash of 1929 led to the Great Depression of the 1930s. Now, we are playing the Stock Market game in Social Studies to see what it was like for people who invested their money in the Stock Market.

What companies did you choose to invest in? Why did you choose them? Do you think you will make money?

In our game we are only using M&Ms for money, but how do you think people felt when they lost their real money in the Stock Market? How would they pay their bills or provide for their families? Share your thoughts.

  4. The stock market was very interested because it taught me about what they did in the 1920 and the 1930 but the thing is that i never thought people can buy like crazy back then and we was able to pick our own company and every time nikie went down it was very wierd
